The Trilogy Theater Group (TTG) is a social club that was established in 2012 by Louise Mitchell, a resident of the active adult community of Trilogy Rio Vista in Rio Vista, California. The goal of the club is to explore a variety of theatrical performance styles and to share with Trilogy residents and their guests a range of enjoyable performances and formats. Our season offerings include drama, comedy, readers’ theater and dinner mystery theater, to name a few. Most of our performances are presented in the spacious and comfortable Vista Club Diablo Ballroom – both evening and matinee show times.
Trilogy Rio Vista residents are encouraged to join TTG whether or not they have any prior theatrical experience. Enthusiasm for the performing arts is the only requirement. We offer acting classes as well as hands-on introduction to set design/construction, stage management, technical (lighting and sound) skills, costume, make-up and stage setting activities, not to mention production promotion, ticket sales, food/beverage service, and helping out at the front door on opening night! There’s something for everyone to do – you don’t have to be on stage to have a great time with our group!
Annual club membership dues are $10/yr.
Our regular membership meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month in the Delta Clubhouse, Marina Room, at 7 pm. Curious? Guests are always welcome.
