Ron Chalmers was a dedicated actor, director, and drama teacher, active in all these roles in TTG. In 2020, Ron was preparing to direct a staged version of Edgar Lee Masters’s Spoon River Anthology when Covid hit and all productions came to a halt. Although Ron and Merijane moved away, his vision was just about to be realized two years later when he passed away a week before our play The Lost Souls of Spoon River opened. Ron’s influence continues to be felt here in Trilogy Rio Vista. He never stopped working on his craft and helping others develop their skills as serious stage actors.
